BreadStack is operated by M&W Business Development LLC ("BreadStack," "we," "our," or "us"). We provide an envelope budgeting app for college students. Our contact email is [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Financial data: Envelope names, balances, budget amounts, and transaction history generated through your use of the app.
• Device data: Device type, operating system version, and app version for crash diagnostics (via Sentry). No personally identifiable device IDs are stored.
• Usage data: Anonymous, aggregated event data (e.g., features tapped) to improve the product. We use UUID-only identifiers. never your name or email. for analytics.
• Push notification token: Your APNs device token to deliver transaction push notifications.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate you and maintain your account
• Display your envelope balances and transaction history
• Send real-time push notifications when your card is used
• Diagnose crashes and app errors
• Improve app performance and features using anonymous usage patterns
• Communicate service updates and important account notices

4. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your Social Security Number, government ID, full bank account numbers, or credit card numbers directly. Subscription payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe) under their privacy policy.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Secure database and authentication infrastructure.
• Stripe: Our payment processor for BreadStack Pro subscriptions.
• Sentry: Crash and error reporting (anonymized).
• Apple: Push notifications delivered via APNs.
• Legal authorities: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 7 years after account closure to comply with financial recordkeeping requirements. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

7. Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security, encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS). We use industry-standard access controls and do not store sensitive card data on our servers.

8. Children's Privacy & Age Requirements

BreadStack's budgeting features (envelopes, budget calculator, spending insights) are available to users of all ages. BreadStack Pro subscription billing requires users to be 18 years of age or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete the account and associated data.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. California residents have additional rights under CCPA including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email. Continued use of BreadStack after changes constitutes acceptance.
